A Busy November

A Busy November

A few have been asking: “What’s happened to you during November? Where’s the latest short story?”

Well, it’s been a busy November. I’ve been working on the latest stories (yes, plural), as well as tidying up, proofreading and improving the older stories I’ve already put out.

In the next few months I hope to release a combined volume of The Academy short stories I’ve been writing over the past year. To do this, I’ve been working with some fellow writers/proofreaders to go over and fine tune the stories. This means in the next month I’ll be putting out some revisions of the existing stories in preparation for getting them ready for printing early next year.

What else? A lot of my writing involves planning and organising my information so it’s accurate and consistent. I’ll put together a blog about some of the other things I’ve been using to help me keep track of things soon, including how I create the systems for each of the planets and stars I feature in my stories.

I’m working on the first draft of the short story for December, and have plans for the next couple, as well as some news that I’ll be posting up about other writing projects I’m starting work on soon.
